More about EMCA
EMCA is a network among church workers across denominational barriers. It is based on Christian love and relationship rather than doctrinal confessions. - The aim is to encourage and strengthen each other - and through study of the Bible to become more and more effective in reaching our community with the Gospel and thereby let the Kingdom of God become more and more visible in the Valley of 1000 Hills. - Below the story of how it came about...
01
What started this network?
It was the need among the pastors to relate to others! This became clear in two different ways: The Church Survey in 2013 and a situation where the chief called the pastors together to ask the support of the churches.

The Church survey in 2013
In 2013 two pastors decided to map all the churches of Embo.
They went down every small road in the valley and found a surprisingly high number of churches. Many of them were very small. And many of the pastors of these isolated cells expressed surprise and happiness for the visit and interest from others, whom they hardly considered as colleagues.

The Chiefs appeal to the church leaders
Another event in 2013 that also encouraged the regular coming together of pastors, was that the chief called a number of the pastors and shared some requests with them for what the church in Embo should do.
These two things both caused the pastors from many diverse churches to meet.-
